 HOLIDAY CELEBRATION 4 CITRUS CO NEEDY PETS Thanksgiving and Christmas FREE DOGGIE BAG DINNERS.

 Homosassa, Fl: Today, National Greyhound Foundation Rescue organization, headquartered in Citrus Co. announces their highly successful FOOD4PETS program launching the HOLIDAY CELEBRATION for CITRUS COUNTY NEEDY PETS. AMERICA’S GREYHOUNDS will be sharing THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS DINNERS with the needy dogs and cats of CITRUS COUNTY. 

 DATE:THANKSGIVING: Tuesday November 26, 10-1:00 (registration of pets)                                                                                                 

               Tuesday, Dec. 3rd.  10-1:00.                                  (Registration)

               Tuesday, Dec. 10.  10-1:00                                     (Registration)

 CHRISTMAS pickup: 

                Tuesday , December 17th. 10-1:00 (registration of pets, food and gifts from Santa)

“ When asked “why did you come out of retirement at 90yrs. of age to do this, Beverly Sebastian answered. “I got so upset watching everyone feeding the world and nobody feeding the pets in those families (they need food too) I decided to share my successful Greyhound food program with the people that gave me so much help when my husband and I began 30yrs ago”. Many people in today’s financial situation are having to turn their pets into the Animal Shelter because they can no longer feed or care for them. Hopefully this program can be the beginning of keeping our Citrus County pets in their homes.” 

 Created in 1994, the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in Homosassa, Fl. With the encouragement of former Chronicle Editor, Jerry Mulligan, has rescued and adopted over 15,000 retired racing greyhounds around the country.
